Air India is considered to be Indian national flight for carrier. Deccan airways, usually known as Air Deccan, is considered to be the India’s first cheapest airline with low cost carrier. It was inaugurated in August 2003.It encouraged the people, specially middle class, to fly to other towns and cities, which are still unconnected by other airlines. Deccan Airways office is located in Bangalore and with another hub at Chennai.
Deccan Airways never differentiate in fares between NRI visitors, who have come as tourist in India and local citizens in India.
JetLite (formerly Air Sahara)
JetLite Airways, which is commonly known as Air Sahara, is considered to be one of the private and oldest airlines in India. It was inaugurated in the month of September 1991 and has private hubs in Indira Gandhi International Airport; New Delhi, Begum pet Airport, Hyderabad, Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport; Mumbai, Chennai International Airport, Chennai, and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata.
Jetlite airways has domestic flights, which covers whole India, as it also travels between Delhi and Chicago.
JetLite covers domestic flights all over India, as well as travel between Delhi and Chicago, having a share with American Airlines.
GoAir
Go-Air is considered to be another low cost flight and is relatively prominent for new-comer for domestic flights in India.It flies and covers some parts of India which is Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Coimbatore and Goa.There is a special offer of 10,000 free tickets on monthly basis by GoAir.
Kingfisher Air

As kingfisher airlines only operates flights in India, it has plans to expand its airline international market by involving USA as probable destination.

- Jagson Airline-Inaugurated in Nov 1991.Primarily located in Delhi.Operates between Delhi-Kullu and Delhi-Shimla routes, as well as Shirdi-Mumbai and Shirdi-Pune flights. Provides internet booking facilities for flight tickets in domestic circuit within the desired route though their own website.
- Jet Airways-Its main headquarter is located in Mumbai and plies in 44 destinated routes within domestic circuit of India and provides daily domestic flights of around 370.
